One important support TAPCCO gives is nutritional support to the children and parents. Many Ethiopian children are already undernourished and it is even worst in children with cancer. Thus, TAPCCO with designated kitchen at the hospital (TASH) gives support to children with cancer daily supplementary food consisting of egg, bread and milk. Mulumul Bakery gives bread support for the supplementary feeding program. Each day on average 40 children are given this service. Parents also receive basic breakfast services which makes total average of 80 people.
Similarly, TAPCCO gives lunch support to the children and parents that are spending the whole day at outpatient ward. This helps the children to get balanced diet, clean food and less exposure to the surrounding helping them to stay healthy. The lunch program is supported by American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO) and individual donors.
